Product Specialist FTC (7 months)

Job purpose:
The Product Specialist is a hands-on role focused on operational excellence in live environments.
The purpose of this role is to support the reliable, secure, and consistent operation of the Orderly platform in live QSR and grocery environments. Working closely with customers and internal engineering teams, you’ll spend significant time in operational settings, translating real-world workflows into effective configuration, clear specifications, and continuous improvements.
Orderly works with enterprise customers while operating with the pace and autonomy of a scale-up. This role requires strong ownership, sound judgement, and accountability for outcomes in live environments.
This role is offered on a fixed-term basis for approximately 7 months, with potential for extension depending on business needs.
Main responsibilities:
Act as a product specialist for operational and technical queries relating to the Orderly platform
Support effective configuration and day-to-day use of the Orderly platform in live QSR and grocery operations
Troubleshoot root causes of issues and work directly with Support and Engineering to resolve them
Support specifications, configuration, and controlled product changes that balance operational and technical needs
Translate real-world operational workflows into clear configuration guides and specifications
Create bespoke product documentation, videos, and customer-facing guidance
Apply strong PMO discipline to track actions, risks, dependencies, and outcomes
Proactively review platform usage and site feedback to improve consistency and performance
Support customers with practical product and operational queries
Encourage adoption of new Orderly platform features as the roadmap evolves
Drive measurable sustainability outcomes through effective and correct product usage
Champion Orderly’s security and data protection standards in access, configuration, and change management
Work across multinational customers and licensees with differing operating models
Act as a visible and credible representative of Orderly in live operational environments
Spend approximately two days per week on customer sites (London head office and outlets)
Travel regularly, including occasional international travel
Requirements:
Experience working in QSR or grocery technology or operations, ideally in a multi-site environment
Strong understanding of store-level workflows and operational constraints
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex, real-world operational issues
Experience working closely with engineers and technical teams
Strong PMO skills, with the ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams
Comfortable operating across regions, cultures, and time zones
Genuine interest in sustainability and waste reduction
Strong alignment with B Corp principles

Salary range: £45,000-£55,000
