Technical Project Manager FTC (12 months)
We're a certified B-Corp SaaS provider, leveraging Big Data and AI to help Food & Beverage businesses dramatically reduce food waste, and make a significant difference in the world.
About the role
We are looking for a hands-on, delivery-focused Technical Project Manager to step into a critical maternity cover role. You will take over live projects mid-flight and need to build trust quickly, bring clarity, and keep high-stakes delivery on track.
This role is central to our mission to reduce food waste and drive sustainability through our SaaS platform. You will work closely with engineering, product, and leadership to deliver value for some of our most strategically important international customers.
What you will do
Own planning, resourcing, and end-to-end delivery of critical software projects
Communicate clearly and calmly with internal teams and customers, especially when things are moving fast
Spot delivery risks early and take action without waiting for permission
Build trust quickly with engineers and stakeholders through transparent decision-making
Adapt plans quickly to meet changing demands, and make smart trade-offs under pressure
Work with leadership on key accounts to ensure we meet revenue-linked delivery targets
Lead collaboration and unblock progress when teams get stuck to maintain delivery momentum
What we are looking for
Experience in a SaaS, agency, or consultancy setting where pace and client expectations matter
Experience leading engineers as part of a software delivery team
Excellent communication, emotional intelligence, and interpersonal skills, particularly under pressure
Proven track record delivering complex software projects
Comfortable stepping in mid-flight and quickly making sense of the situation
Familiarity with agile, hybrid, or adaptable delivery approaches
Confident working with stakeholders and clients at all levels
Based within 3 hours of the UK time zone
Why join us?
This is a fast-moving, high-impact role where your work will make a visible difference to our customers and to the planet. You will be part of a capable, supportive team that cares about getting good work done.
Salary range: £45,000-£65,000
